Understanding your WHY is key to sustained health

Does lovely Stu’s Journey sound familiar? Do you face the same struggles? Do you understand your motive, your WHY?

Stu is a very valued and loved member of Primal Mvmnt. He has been with us since we founded Primal Mvmnt, coming up to nearly a year ago (wow where does the time go hey!). 

It all starts with your WHY

Stu booked into a “Free Intro” where he sat down with Coach Adam. They had a good old chat about what Stu wanted to achieve in relation to his health & fitness goals. But it was more than a chat. It was an open discussion around Stu’s aspirations and also WHY this was important to him. Stu’s WHY was to gain help in becoming healthier and taking control of his current lifestyle. You or someone close to you may have or be experiencing the same challenges? Ignoring them is not an option when considering health and wellbeing. Stu’s WHY was clear – be healthy and happy. His main focus was stabilizing his blood sugars and stabilizing diabetes. 

Like many of us, Stu was finding it increasingly difficult to balance a very demanding job. Not to mention family time, taking good care of himself, and everything else in his busy schedule. Going to the gym and taking time for himself was at the time, not a priority.

So we now understood what Stu wanted to achieve, his goals and most importantly his WHY.

Bespoke Plans – High Accountability

It was time to make a plan with Stu. A plan that was specific to his goals, measurable, attainable. Relevant to his requirements and current abilities and to also set a time in which to review and assess the progress made on his journey so far. This is what we call an “Athlete Check-in”. No matter your age, size, experience, everyone is classified as an athlete at Primal Mvmnt. The ‘Athlete Check In’ is carried out with one of our wonderful coaches every 12 weeks. This ensures that you are happy with where you are on your journey, celebrate your bright spots from the past 12 weeks, and to set any new goals or focuses that we can support you with further. 

Move, Eat, Sleep, Manage = Progress!

Stu went from not going to the gym at all. To starting with Personal Training paired with Nutrition Coaching. He quickly progressed towards the 6 am Small Group Personal Training. Giving him a great start to his day and that energy boost and focus he wanted to go on and tackle his busy day ahead. 

Not only do we love seeing Stu go from strength to strength in the classes and further develop skills during his Personal Training sessions. We are so chuffed to have been able to support him in stabilising and improving his diabetes and sleep pattern through nutrition coaching and guidance.  

We are super proud of what you have been able to achieve Stu and absolutely love having you as part of our community here at Primal Mvmnt.
