I wanted to share a members story with you today as it’s inspirational!
When Chris joined us 18 months ago his view on health & fitness was heavily focused on exercise alone. Don’t get me wrong exercise has a huge host of benefits with our health, however, part of Chris’s goal was to reduce weight/body fat not only to feel better but perform better in this training which is a passion of his.
6 months into his journey and 2 goal reviews later it was clear that he was feeling stronger and fitter but the weight/body fat wasn’t shifting as fast as would have liked. The missing ingredient? Nutrition. During our goal reviews we have honest conversations about what it takes to ensure our members achieve their health & fitness goals, we review their attendance, talk about their sleep/stress/routine/habits/nutrition. For Chris some simple yet effective changes would lead to some amazing results.
Fast track a year later since that goal review and Chris has been consistent with his nutrition and training which has lead to inspirational levels of change with his body in a sustainable and healthy way.
So what are his results over the last 12 months?
- Reduced his weight by 19.4kg! That’s not a typo, I meant 19.4kg!
- Reduced his Body Fat by 8.7%!
- Reduced his Body Fat Mass by 14.49kg
- Increased his Muscle Mass by 6.01%
Chris’s biggest complaint about the whole process? That he now has to buy new clothes because they don’t fit him anymore.
