NEW Weightlifting Classes!

Big news, lifters! From Thursday 21 August 2025, our timetable gets an exciting upgrade: a dedicated Olympic Weightlifting class every Thursday at 7:40 PM at Primal Mvmnt.

Whether you’re brand new to the barbell or chasing sharper technique, this session is your weekly chance to build powerful, confident lifts with smart coaching and a friendly vibe.

What to expect

Olympic Lifting Class: build powerful Olympic lifts with expert coaching. Skill drills for snatch and clean & jerk, plus foundational strength work (squat, hinge, push, pull). All levels welcome.

Here’s how the hour typically flows:

  • Targeted warm-up to prime mobility and positions
  • Technique blocks for snatch and clean & jerk (barbell complexes, positional work, tempo drills)
  • Strength accessories to grow a solid base: squats, pulls, presses, hinges
  • Quality > quantity: focused reps, thoughtful progressions, and clear cues you can actually use

  • Newer lifters who want safe, simple steps to learn the lifts
  • CrossFitters/functional athletes looking to level up barbell skill for WODs
  • Experienced lifters chasing tighter positions, better bar path, and consistent lifts under fatigue
